WINTER HEAT

CRAZY WEATHER. I don't understand what's going on with brazilian's weather. As you know, we had some freezing days during autum - not the kind of freezing days people face in New York or Stockholm, but freezing days for brazilian's pattern (and believe me, this days can be really cold!) - but winter has just arrived (it started about two weeks ago, actually) and I'm still waiting for an opportunity to wear leather jackets and drink hot chocolate. 

It's unbelievable, isn't it?  It seems like yesterday I was complaining about winter, wishing to live summer all over again and right now, look at me, here I am, going crazy with this terrible heat, wishing that some kind of cold wind blows around. 

I still love summer, I love sunny days, I prefer summer style instead winter's, but this time I just can't deal with this heat anymore. Not just because it's damn hot at all, but because it's dry like August - month we face the most terrible weather ever in Brasília. Damn!

CRAZY WEATHER. Entender o clima de Brasília é quase uma missão impossível! Depois de alguns dias congelantes durante o outono, eis que chega o inverno e eu continuo esperando sentada por uma oportunidade de usar casacos e beber chocolate quente.
Parece que foi ontem que eu andava reclamando sobre o frio que tava fazendo e agora, olhem só pra mim! Cá estou eu, me redimindo diante do inverno, e pedindo que São Pedro mande um ventinho gelado pra eu curtir pelo menos metade das roupas de frio que eu tenho (que já são bem poucas! Só pra vocês terem uma noção do drama). 
Continuo amando o verão de todos os jeitos - desde os vestidos levinhos até o clima maravilhoso - mas sinceramente, não tá dando pra lidar com esse calor, não! Não só porque Brasília tá pior que o deserto do Saara, mas principalmente porque além de quente, anda super seco por aqui. O que por sinal, me faz lembrar de Agosto, o mês com o pior clima ever em Brasília. Complicado...

HAPPY B-DAY MOM!

 IMPORTANT DAY. The day is almost over, but I needed to share with you what I'm feeling in this amazing thursday. Today, the woman of my life is getting one year older, and after the amazing mini party we had in my apartment, all I can say is that I'm so glad to have this incredible woman to call "mom". I love you mom, so, so, so much! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

 IMPORTANT DAY. O dia já tá quase chegando ao fim, mas eu não podia deixar que esse dia tão especial passasse em branco. Sim, eu tô morta de cansaço! Depois de fazer um monte de coisas com a qual eu não estou acostumada - tipo compras, almoço completo, jantar e ainda fazer um pouquinho de sala pras visitas - mas mesmo assim não tinha como não compartilhar o motivo dessa quinta-feira ter sido tão especial. 

Hoje, pra quem não sabe, a mulher da minha vida tá ficando um ano mais velha. E na boa gatans, você não sabe o orgulho que eu tenho de poder chamar essa mulher incrível de "mãe". Então, mamis, te amo muito, muito, muito - e você já sabe disso, anyway. FELIZ ANIVERSÁRIO!

OUTFIT INSPO: COLD SUNNY DAY

FREEZING SUNNY DAY. I'm awake - and freezing - since 7 am. Not the kind of thing I use to do very often when I'm on vacation - or while my classes are suspended, as it is in fact - but once I slept last night at my bf's apartment, he needed to go out early this morning and I needed a ride, what should I do except this little sacrifice? Better than comming home by bus or on foot, at least.

Anyway, I arrived home feeling sleepy, but not sleepy enough to go to bed. Once awake, I guess it's hard to go to bed again. With a world - and an agenda - full of things to do, how could I think about going to bed, right?! So I decided to look for something to blog - something easy, because I'm not well enough to write a deep post - and I ended up finding this beautiful outfit. A great idea for a sunny cold day as I'm facing today and as I know many readers are going to face during summer.

DECOR: SMALL BATHROOM

GREAT IDEA. Decor is always something great to talk about. Besides the fact that, like it or not, we will need to face it in our lives soon or later, when you like it, decor can be as cool as fashion. Since I was about twelve years old I dream about living in my own cute decorated apartment. Of course, back and forth, my tastes changed a lot. Something I used to love when I was a teenager now seems to be fool or last season, but my love for decor was always the same. 

I already blogged about it sometimes, never the same way I blogged about fashion, but as it's something I love and, in a way or another, this blog is nothing else than a place to talk about what I like and dislike, decor will always have it's place here. 

So, as I do with outfits I like, I have an inspiration file in my computer with decor ideas. And today I was looking this file when I saw this cute small bathroom. 

I need to admit I like huge houses with huge rooms - who doesn't right? - but sometimes small places seems to be much more my kind. And at least in Brazil, they're getting more and more common. With apartment's prices so high and families getting shorter and shorter, it's getting common too see more and more small apartments instead huge flats. 

At the a first sight, small places seems to be easier to decorate but to be honest, I think they're worse. There's no place to everything, you need to use the place in the right way, according to your needs, and at the same time you can't make it look too much... Hard task, but showed in a great way in this bathroom. It's really small, as you can see, but cute and clean, just the way a bathroom needs to be.  I would love to have a bathroom like this one in my future apartment.

MAKEUP INSPO: RED LIPS

PASSION. I'm the type of girl that loves all kind of make up. To dark eyes until the combo mascara + blush, I love each kind of make up. But even loving it in all kinds, I need to admit that red lips has a special place in my heart. Until now I had never seen some way to make you look beautiful and glamourous in three minutes as red lipstick has the power to. Instant beauty weapon for a warm saturday night!

MUSIC TIME!

REPLAY. Sometimes I listen to some songs and then I just can't stop listening to it over and over again. To be honestly, it happens everytime, and about two weeks ago I have been repeating this song from Train crazily. My chosen one this time.
